Love Songs
Featuring Brahms’s Liebeslieder & Neue Liebeslieder
Wednesday, February 14, 2018 | 7:30 PM | Resonance at SOMA Towers
288 106th Avenue NE, Suite 203, Bellevue
Brahms tapped into a lucrative vein when composing a set of Liebeslieder Walzer (“Lovesong Waltzes”) in 1868. They were so popular that his publisher requested a second set. These audience favorites have since been adopted by choruses worldwide, but the Emerald Ensemble will present them as originally intended, for four solo voices and piano four-hands. Our four soloists will also sing a bouquet of art-songs on the subject of love. This is a Valentine’s Day event to cherish forever.
